AN REM HOLIDAY WEEKEND!

Posted by Infonistacrat on Friday, July 3rd, 2009

I’m sitting here in the Detroit airport, waiting on my wifes plane to get in from Cali, and decided that instead of working, it would be better to listen to some music, write up a post, and have a little fun. I can only take work so long, and besides, everyone else in my [...]

SHUFFLING THE iPOD, DAY 3

Posted by Infonistacrat on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Last day in a hotel room for a few days…tomorrow, I am heading home. Sometimes, even with the roughest of jobs, you get a week where the stars align, the universe opens up, and everything goes well. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s a beautiful thing. And make no [...]

BACK TO THE FUTURE, I GUESS

Posted by Infonistacrat on Monday, June 29th, 2009

Well, I had the new theme up for a bit, but there were a few tweaks I just could not get worked out. Mainly, I simply could not get it to work with Wordpress Stats. There were a few other things that kind of bugged the hell out of me, that I could [...]

CHEESE, CHEESE AND MORE 80′S CHEESE!

Posted by Infonistacrat on Thursday, August 28th, 2008

First off, to everyone that sent me good thoughts, it all worked. My wife got a call this morning, and everything came back negative. It’s nice that for once, the news was good, and we get to head down that good road for awhile. To everyone that sent the good wishes, thanks…you’ll never know how much it meant to my wife that you all would show such kindness. And that in turn makes me happy. So, if I’m ever in your city, let me know, and I’ll buy you a beer.

Musically, today is nothing but the best cheesy radio hits from the 80’s. I’m off to enjoy my Wednesday evening with my wife and her son. May the karma you all earned pour over you all! Enjoy!

    These are pretty cheesy, but I love John Waite, ZZ Top, The Who and Blondie. Great White makes me want to throw up.

    @Robert Lindsey:

    Same here. The only thing good about White Snake was the girl in the video, and looking back, even she really wouldn’t do a lot for me now! well, OK, maybe she would…but still…

    @Jim:

    Thank you sir. I will pass this along to my wife. Her son flew in from California to hand with us this week, expecting to have to support her if the news was bad, so instead, it’s tuned into a whole lot better trip.

    Thanks. Now we just need to move that karmic ocean your way! I still have you guys in my prayers and thoughts everyday.

    glad to hear good news abounds, not quite sure why such a cause for celebration is linked to 80’s cheese but i don’t want to delve to deep into your psyche!

    That’s the stuff, happy for ye.

    @A.J:

    Purely good coincidence, I can assure you! Sometimes, I write about only the music, sometimes, it’s the memories that surround the music, and sometimes, when something is happening to me either good or bad, the two disconnect.

    anyway, thanks for the kind words!
