I thought I would pop out a little serious 90’s Britpop on this fine, fine Monday morning. It’s good to be home, and it’s good to be listening to the sweet sound of 90’s England. Last week was a brutal long week, and the weekend was way too short. I didn’t post, because I was busy trying to catch up on my damn sleep. I have this week to recharge my batteries, and then August kicks in. From now until the end of August, I’ll be traveling 4 of the weeks. Just the peculiarity of business, I guess.
In the mean time, I got some Drugstore for those of you who love dream pop. And whats better than one dream pop song? Three of course. Love Spit Love and Boo Radleys make it a hat trick! Give it a listen, and enjoy some great 90’s stuff you wouldn’t hear very often on the radio back in the day! Just sit back, and enjoy the day. By the way, I’m coming up on the first birthday of this thing (sorry, I hate the word blog, even though that’s what this is, I guess), and I gotta figure out something special. Or not. Since I’ll be in Boulder, CO, I may just head to the Left Hand Brewing Company, and celebrate. If you’re in the area, and want to join me, let me know! Enjoy!

Richard Butler does an amazing Morrissey cover - OK, I said it, are you happy? The first time I heard it was on Marsden’s show and thought of you - because I’ve debated with you the useless waste of airwaves I had thought covers to be….until you twisted my arm to see them as otherwise.
Happy Monday (I think).

@MissParker0106:
You know what’s bizarre, is that I think I prefer Love Spit Love’s version over Morrissey’s. Morrissey, and the Smiths as an extension, always seemed to go out of their way to strip out any soul or R&B influence from their songs. LSL put a just the smallest touch into it, and I think it made the song so much deeper and better to listen to.
