GREAT ALBUMS OF THE 80′S: MEAT PUPPETS II
Very very busy week…yesterday is what I fondly refer to as Terrible Tuesday. Terrible Tuesday is terrible because I have 11 scheduled conference calls, which means I get no work done during the day, and end up sitting on my couch with my wife, watching TV (well, she watches), and doing the work I needed to get done during the day. Hooray! Terrible Tuesday is such a beautiful day!
So, on Terrible Tuesday, when I’m writing this post, I need something that is quick and easy to post. So….for the next few weeks, I’ll probably end up posting some of my favorite albums of the 80’s. So, to kick it off, here is easily one of my top 5. In 1984, the Meat Puppets put out an album that was far ahead of it’s time. If you listened to any college radio in the 80’s, you heard of this album. I was lucky enough to hang out at Kent State, shooting pool in the student center and listening to their station. This is a must for any true 80’s fan. Enjoy!
