9:30 AM update: I have todays post back up and in working order. I also have restored the playlists that the player depends on to work. The last thing is to upload all the files, which will take a few hours. As soon as they are done, the site will be back in perfect working order. Thankfully I learned from my last tragedy, and keep everything backed up locally.

Looks like the weekends problems are still haunting me. When they rebuilt the bad hard drives, it looks like they had to go back a long way to find a backup that wasn’t corrupted. Soooooo….that means the music from todays post was missing. I’m uploading that as we speak. But that also means that almost a months worth of posts are also missing. Fortunately, I’ve learned not to trust these amateurs. I also make local backups of both the music and the playlists. So, what that means is that for the second time this year, I have to go back and rebuild the site bit by bit. I first have to figure out the extent of the damage, and then go and rebuild. Hopefully, this won’t take too long….I swear, it’s times like these that make you want to throw in the towel!

Well, as you can tell if you’ve tried to visit the site in the past few days, I’ve been down. Or rather, my web-host has been down. I guess something pretty major happened with the hard drives. In fact, I know exactly when it happened Saturday night, as I was writing up a post for yesterday when it all went bad. I lost that post, which sucks, but at least I’m back online!

I’m going to try to get another post in today for tomorrow. I say try, because I have a few things going on that might prevent it. I have to leave for another business trip…Pittsburgh again. Plus my wifes mother is having a hip replacement today, so that has my wife completely freaked out. I swear, getting old sucks huge!
