GREAT 80′S POP HITS, VOL 4

April 21st, 2008 · No Comments

What a great weekend it was here. After the brutal winter we had, it was nice to wear shorts and get outside to do a little work. I actually mowed my lawn on Saturday, which is no small feat. I have a tweener yard…to small for a riding mower, and almost too large for a push mower. Which is what I use. And it takes a little over an hour and a half to mow…a long, boring hour and a half. The only thing that saves me is my trusty little iPod. I have no clue what in the hell I would do half the time without it. I use it when I travel for business and am sitting in airports for hours at a time. Standing in line. Mowing the lawn. Or just sitting and working. Yeah, I use it a lot.

So, what was I listening to this past weekend? Well, I have a pretty good 80’s playlist on there that I listened to for a bit. Then I switched over to some Pixies (kind of my default playlist…I listen to them more than anything else). Then I went way back to some Ziggy Stardust to finish it off.

So, my weekend was great, no doubt about it. I hope everyone out there had just as great a weekend. All I hope is that the long, cold, snowy winter here in Michigan is finally over.
