GREAT 80′S POP HITS, VOL 2

Another day of some great 80’s pop songs for the first (at least MY first) decent weekend of the year. I normally don’t brag about what I wear, but as I write this, I think I’m wearing an appropriate outfit. Some cutoff green army looking shorts (most comfortable things I own, other than my Reef flip flops with the built in bottle opener!), and a Sex Pistols tee. Believe me, it’s an outfit that always gets a raise out of my neighbors!

The video is a favorite of mine from the early 80’s, Modern English’s I Melt With You. This song came out out just after high school, if I remember correctly. I graduated in 1982, and this came out in 1983, if my timing is correct. I thought this was just about the coolest video I ever saw, and really still do. Robbie Grey is just about the coolest singer ever in this video, and I can remember being willing to give just about anything to be that cool for just one day. Alas, it never happened. Mesh and lace indeed. Enjoy the weekend!
