Lat day of my review of NME’s list of the greatest Indie anthems of all time. Todays list wraps up what I think is over all a pretty rocking list of songs. Todays list is songs number 31 - 45. Finally, the Pixies make an appearance. As I explained yesterday, I find it odd that a list put together by mostly Brits would put the Pixies so low, considering the fact that it was Briton that really embraced them for the great band they really were.
My observations of the list overall: Oasis is far more important on the UK than they are here. The Stone Roses are bigger than I ever imagined. Radiohead apparently is bigger here in the states than in the UK. So go figure. Still, over all, a very nice list, and one I’d gladly listen to anytime. Enjoy!
- Oasis - Cigarettes And Alcohol
- The Stone Roses - Fool’s Gold
- The Killers - Mr. Brightside
- Radiohead - Just

Fool’s Gold has got to be the ultimate Stone Roses production - they completely outdid themselves. Thanks again for some fabulous tunes.
