AN REM HOLIDAY WEEKEND!

Posted by Infonistacrat on Friday, July 3rd, 2009

I’m sitting here in the Detroit airport, waiting on my wifes plane to get in from Cali, and decided that instead of working, it would be better to listen to some music, write up a post, and have a little fun. I can only take work so long, and besides, everyone else in my [...]

SHUFFLING THE iPOD, DAY 3

Posted by Infonistacrat on Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Last day in a hotel room for a few days…tomorrow, I am heading home. Sometimes, even with the roughest of jobs, you get a week where the stars align, the universe opens up, and everything goes well. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s a beautiful thing. And make no [...]

BACK TO THE FUTURE, I GUESS

Well, I had the new theme up for a bit, but there were a few tweaks I just could not get worked out. Mainly, I simply could not get it to work with Wordpress Stats. There were a few other things that kind of bugged the hell out of me, that I could [...]

GREAT GRUNGE DEEPCUTS FROM THE 90′S

Posted by Infonistacrat on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008

Today is sort of a national holidays here in the U.S. Super Bowl Sunday. Undefeated New England Patriots vs. The Underdogs, The New York Giants. The Giants almost upset the Patriots a few weeks ago, but the then again, a lot of people are calling the Patriots the greatest football team ever. So, tomorrow should be a great game. Me, I’m going for the underdog, and rooting for the Giants. Which means they are doomed. Because if anyone on earth can pick a looser every time, it’s me. Pretty much if I root for a team, it’s a guarantee that they’ll loose. So there you have it. I want the Giants to win, but the Patriots probably will.

So, on a rocking day like Super Bowl Sunday, I figure it’s only fitting to have some seriously rocking grunge from the 90’s. And not just any grunge, but deep cuts from some of the greatest artists, off the greatest albums of the era. So sit back, enjoy, and rock on! Let’s kick it off, and get the game started!

  1. Alice In Chains – Angry Chair
  2. Babes In Toyland – Bruise Violet
  3. Hole – Jennifer’s Body
  4. L7 – Shitlist
  5. Lucy’s Fur Coat
  6. Mad Season – River Of Deceit

I’ve watched, and remember, every Super Bowl since 1974 (I was 9 years old, and barely remember it), and this was by far the best game I remember. I hate to say it, but the Pats got what was coming to em. The Giants played a perfect game.

And how about Tom Petty at half time? He sounded as good as he did 25 years ago! Well done to him as well.
