GREAT GRUNGE DEEPCUTS FROM THE 90′S
Today is sort of a national holidays here in the U.S. Super Bowl Sunday. Undefeated New England Patriots vs. The Underdogs, The New York Giants. The Giants almost upset the Patriots a few weeks ago, but the then again, a lot of people are calling the Patriots the greatest football team ever. So, tomorrow should be a great game. Me, I’m going for the underdog, and rooting for the Giants. Which means they are doomed. Because if anyone on earth can pick a looser every time, it’s me. Pretty much if I root for a team, it’s a guarantee that they’ll loose. So there you have it. I want the Giants to win, but the Patriots probably will.
So, on a rocking day like Super Bowl Sunday, I figure it’s only fitting to have some seriously rocking grunge from the 90’s. And not just any grunge, but deep cuts from some of the greatest artists, off the greatest albums of the era. So sit back, enjoy, and rock on! Let’s kick it off, and get the game started!
- Alice In Chains – Angry Chair
- Babes In Toyland – Bruise Violet
- Hole – Jennifer’s Body
- L7 – Shitlist
- Lucy’s Fur Coat
- Mad Season – River Of Deceit
- Mother Love Bone – Chloe Dancer-Crown of Thorns
- Mudhoney – Overblown
- Nirvana – Territorial Pissings
- Pearl Jam – Corduroy
- Screaming Trees – Alice Said
- Soundgarden – Flower
- Stone Temple Pilots – Lounge Fly
- Temple Of The Dog – Say Hello 2 Heaven
- The Jesus Lizard – If You Had Lips

I’ve watched, and remember, every Super Bowl since 1974 (I was 9 years old, and barely remember it), and this was by far the best game I remember. I hate to say it, but the Pats got what was coming to em. The Giants played a perfect game.
And how about Tom Petty at half time? He sounded as good as he did 25 years ago! Well done to him as well.
