SOME LO-FI GOODIES FOR YOU ALL!

January 23rd, 2008 · No Comments

Being that I am such a huge fan of 80’s college rock, I figured that a post about Lo-Fi would be appropriate. Lo-Fi kind of grew out of that 80’s scene, and became a huge in the underground/indie scene. I like it because it’s a little more laid back, for the most part, and after yesterday, my Karma needs a little work.

So today is a lot of pretty cool music. My favorites are definitely Modest Mouse and Pavement, though Built to Spill is definitely right up there on the list. And Liz Phair’s tune from Exile In Guyville is the best of that great album. Even if you never really listened to much Hi-Fi, give it a chance. I think you’ll like it, alot!

  2. Beulah - Ballad Of The Lonely Argonaut
  3. Built To Spill - Big Dipper
  4. Chris Knox - Letter From LA
  5. David Kilgour - Nail In My Foot
  6. Eric’s Trip - Sunlight
  7. Folk Implosion - Natural One
  8. Guided By Voices - Teenage FBI
  9. Liz Phair - Fuck and Run
