I’m taking a break from the best of the last few years to go back to the 90’s, mainly because I got a little bored with the music from the last 6 years. As good as it may be, I don’t see how it will ever be considered as good as the greatest hits of the 90’s. So today, I banging through the top 15 songs of the 90’s. Hey, I had just a blast, I may even put up 16-30 tomorrow!
Starting the list is the most obvious choice…Smells Like Teen Spirit. As soon as you hear that opening riff, you know exactly what song is about to bust loose on you. Todays list has so much awesomeness on it, your head might explode. But thats cool, because if it does explode, at least it was because of some great tunes. Go ahead, enjoy it, it’ll make you really happy!
- Nirvana Smells - Like Teen Spirit
- Sublime What I Got
- Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name
- Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge
- Nine Inch Nails - Loser
- Smashing Pumpkins - Today
- Radiohead - Creep
- Green Day - Basket Case
- Sublime - Date Rape
- Foo Fighters - Everlong
- Offspring - Come Out and Play
- Nirvana - Come As You Are
- Weezer - Buddy Holly
- Pearl Jam - Even Flow
- Beck - Loser

I’d have to say the 90’s blows the crap out of today’s music. But the 80’s is where it’s at!
But this list — pretty sweet!

Yeah, definitely the 80’s is where it’s at. But the 90’s…an oh so close second! Thanks for the compliment!

Hi! I’m also a fan of the 90s. I made a blog with music from that period. Hope you like it!

The reason 90’s is better than today’s is because we can actually look back at the hits of the decade and everyone thinks all the hits were just being cranked out.but really the bad ones can’t stand the test of time. now when we look back at the 80’s it is even more refined. listen I’m 12 and i think Nirvana’s way better than katy pery.
