J Geils Band, ABC, Bow Wow Wow, Madness, Bananarama, Toto, Robert Palmer, Human League, B52’s, Lim Wilde, Tears For Fears, Depeche Mode…thats a pretty solid little line up there! I know a lot of people seemed to like the 80’s stuff last week, so I figure I would make it as regular a feature I can. So if you love that good old 80’s stuff, make sure to check back every Friday. Todays selections are once again pretty typical 80’s stuff. MTv was so new back then, and I can almost remember all these videos playing all the time. My friend Kenny had cable (my house didn’t), and his parents got MTv as well, so I used to go to his house when his parents were away, and we would sit and drink beer and watch MTv…thats pretty much how I spent my last couple years of High School.

I think it is almost unimaginable to think of people not having cable now, but that was pretty standard then. I think of all the stuff we didn’t have in the 80’s….no computers, no internet, no DVD’s, no CD’s, no cellphones, no pagers, no fax machines…I could go on and on. But one thing we did have….the Atari game systems! Man they ruled…I used to play Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom for hours with my girlfriends brother. Fantastic!
