I’m not trying to make it a habit to release on the weekend, but who knows, I just may keep it up! Yesterday, we had the great Nirvana live recording, and today, I’m switching it all up on you, and throwing something that is bound to make you stand up and say “WTF Mate?!?”. Japanese Ska. Yep, you read that right, Japanese ska, directly from the island. It’s a compilation of the best ska bands in Japan called Skamikazi!, and I have to admit, these cats got bones! I’m not sure what I was expecting, but these guys really blew me away. This is my second post dedicated to ska, and yeah, I realize not everyone is a ska fan, but just give it a listen. These guys hold up against any ska band out there.
